The Company Backpacking Life Travel Agency, registered under CNPJ nº 49.281.922/0001-03, with establishment at Rua São Januário, 676, São Cristóvão, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, CEP 20921-005, establishes these Terms and Conditions of Use of the platform https://www.backpackinglifetravels.com/, which govern access and use for Customers/Users, according to the conditions described below, which must be respected under penalty of implications of the legislation in force.
This document informs users/customers about the obligations, duties and responsibilities they assume when accessing/using the platform, services, advertising, service or travel sales packages.
One of the main objectives of the web page is to provide Internet users with greater convenience and agility, so that when entering the system they can purchase airline tickets, packages, insurance, rentals, transfers or any services that are linked to tourism, with the possibility to create the itinerary according to your taste.

Suppliers or Providers: This term is related to airlines or any related tourism agency operator.

Reservation Platform: The reservation platform is a means that provides the user with the reservation option, where some information must be listed, such as: the city of origin and destination, the date of departure and return, the time of departure and return, number of passengers, check-in or check-off, duration of the trip, etc…
Overbooking: It is the term that explains when there is a sale of a greater number than the number of seats available on the aircraft, as sometimes there are cancellations or absences, they sell a higher number of tickets and it may occur if all passengers show up, someone runs out of available seats.
2 – Services available
2.1 The travel agency platform provides services and products that are components of the tourism sector, such as purchasing airline tickets, hotel reservations, purchasing travel insurance, reservations, transfers and the like.
2.2 The travel agency is only an intermediary and is not responsible for the provision or non-provision of services by third party suppliers/providers.
2.3 To purchase any product or service that the agency provides, a login and password are required, and any access by a third party from another website that provides navigation improvements is prohibited.
2.4 The services provided by the website enable the user to purchase and search for packages, tickets, accommodation, reservations, transfers, tours and similar services.
3 – About the Protection of Personal Information and Privacy Policy

3.6 The User/Client is not permitted to register using third party information, except when entering this information to purchase a service or product that will be used jointly, such as purchasing a trip or tour.
3.7 The registration password is non-transferable and for personal use, being the responsibility of the User/Client.
4 – User/Client Responsibility
4.1 When browsing the travel agency website, the User/Client undertakes to act ethically and respect the conditions of use that govern the use of the platform.
4.2 The User/Client must maintain confidentiality and protect the security of their registration (login and password), as this information constitutes their digital identity on the platform. Any act carried out in your name, even by third parties who have this data, will be your responsibility.
4.3 Updating the data is the exclusive responsibility of the User/Client who may be liable criminally or civilly for damages resulting from inaccuracies or errors in the information stored in the system.
4.4 In case of loss, loss or similar situations involving the password, the User/Client must immediately inform the travel agency through the available service channels to avoid damage that is difficult to repair.
4.5 The User/Client is solely responsible for repairing damages caused to third parties or the platform, including the obligation to compensate, without the platform having any responsibility in this regard.
4.6 The User/Client must confirm whether they have full legal responsibility to use the platform.
4.7 The User/Client assumes full responsibility for the use of the platform, for the data entered and provided, including payment methods and payment data provided to the travel agency.
4.8 The User/Client must provide complete, updated and correct information when searching or finalizing a purchase, such as check-in or check-out, departure and return dates, origins and destinations, passenger name and surname, among other relevant information.
4.9 The User/Client must attend boarding in advance informed by the AIRLINE COMPANY, contact the TRAVEL INSURANCE company in the event of an accident, check-in and check-out at the correct times and comply with all requirements for the good use of the purchased service.
4.10 The User/Client must check the time zone of the destination and daylight saving time, if applicable.
4.11 The User/Client must correctly observe the dimensions and baggage limits of flights, whether domestic or international, which may vary depending on the airline.
4.12 The User/Client must check whether the airline charges for checking in any type of baggage, as since 2017, there have been rates that do not include checked baggage.
4.13 The User/Client must check the existence of airport taxes at the boarding point.
4.14 When receiving luggage, the User/Client must observe its conditions upon disembarking.
4.15 The User/Client must comply with the airline’s safety standards.
4.16 When purchasing the service, the User/Client must be vaccinated in accordance with the guidelines of the National Health Surveillance Agency, in addition to verifying the need for a medical certificate or any form that proves that they are fit to travel.
4.17 The User/Client must check the necessary documents for boarding, including those of lap children or minors.
5 – Obligations of the Backpacking Life Travel Agency
5.1 Backpacking Life Travel Agency is fully responsible to the User/Client:
5.1.1 Maintain a safe environment on your platform/website, except in cases of destructive acts by third parties that cannot be avoided, even with all efforts made. In these cases, the agency will not be responsible for damages resulting from harmful conduct.
5.1.2 Preserve the environment and functionality of the website, using a layout that respects navigation and use, providing easy access and understanding to users, as well as ensuring that there are no broken links.
5.1.3 Display and provide advertisements in a complete, accurate and clear manner, allowing the User/Client to have a full understanding of what they are purchasing and how they are purchasing it.
5.1.4 The agency may send promotions and announcements of services provided to emails or telephone numbers registered in the system, as long as the User/Client authorizes the sending (newsletter).
6 – Information about the Operation of the Website
6.1 The travel agency website is presented to the public as it is currently available, but may undergo changes for improvement and updating. The travel agency is not obliged to maintain the layout structure or any feature of the website, except for its own convenience.
6.2 The platform strives to keep the website system always available on a continuous and permanent basis, offering the best possible service. However, it is subject to extraordinary events, such as failures, natural disasters or collapses in the central communication system, as well as third-party internet access failures, which are outside its scope of responsibility and security.
6.3 The company is not responsible for any damage, loss or damage to the internet user’s equipment, caused by failures in the server, internet connection or system, even if resulting from the conduct of third parties, including the actions of malicious software, such as Trojan horses , malware, viruses, and others that may damage the connection or equipment, resulting from accessing, using or browsing the website, as well as the transfer of files, images, texts, audios, data or videos contained therein.

It is the User/Client‘s duty to read the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, obeying and acting as determined. If any damage occurs due to browsing, the responsibility lies solely with the User/Client, as the page only indicated the link, and the choice to visit it is exclusively up to the User/Client.
7 – Payment, Hiring and Cancellations of Services
7.1 To make a purchase, the User/Client must comply with the travel agency’s requirements.
7.2 It is mandatory that the User/Client fill in the data correctly to make the purchase.
7.3 When purchasing a service/product, the User/Client signs a contract, being obliged to pay for what they purchased. When completing the purchase, you agree to the contracting and termination provisions, Terms of Use and Browsing Conditions, respecting notices and payment methods.
7.4 Payment methods available on the website include credit cards (e.g. VISA), bank slip, PayPal and Pix.
7.5 After payment confirmation, an email will be sent to the User/Client with instructions and information about the service/product purchased, if the operation is successful.
7.6 The prices presented on the website may contain typing errors, which may cause obvious losses to the travel agency or third parties, characterizing unjust enrichment, which is prohibited. If this occurs, the User/Client may choose to make up the difference or cancel the order. In case of cancellation, the amounts will be debited/refunded from the credit card at no cost to the customer, or returned in the best way agreed between the parties.
7.7 The cancellation policy for services/products purchased through the travel agency website is governed by the Consumer Protection Code and in accordance with Embratur regulations number 161/95.
7.8 In the case of purchases via the internet, the USER/CLIENT has the right to regret it within 7 days, as long as they have not used any of the agency’s services, with a 100% refund of the amount paid.
8 – Copyright and Intellectual Property of the Page
8.1 The business name, design, domain, brand, screen content, database, networks, files, images, audio, videos and programs that allow access to the User/Client are the property of the travel agency, all of which are protected by laws , copyright treaties, patents, trademarks, industrial designs and models.
8.2 When accessing the page, the User/Client declares that they will respect all intellectual property rights arising from trademarks or any other form available on the page. Accessing the website does not grant the User/Client any right to use the titles, brands, names, words, patents, literary works, images, arts, or any other material that is or has been available.
